Moisturize! Be sure you have a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Also it's a great idea to deep condition at least once a month. Massaging helps! Add 10 drops of peppermint oil, 7 drops of rosemary oil and 4 drops of tea tree oil to 1 cup of olive oil. Pour the mixture into a squeeze bottle and massage a dime-sized portion into your scalp before bed.

Good faith is absolutely right also another suggestion... if you use any flat irons and blow driers on a daily basis take a break... same with chemicals. find a hair style u can do without the heat or chemicals. Also try not to wash your hair every single day it can dry your hair out. I am half black and greek I have full blown course/ ethnic hair and giving it a break is always appreciated ;D

Make sure to trim your hair frequently (every 4-6wks) this helps for the dry dead ends not to split upward and affect any more hair. Using a paddle brush, brush dry hair every night to remove any loose pieces as well as produce blood flow to the scalp. Nioxin and Boseley are both great wet lines that help to promote fast hair growth. You can also invest in some hair vitamins that can be found at your local health food store.

Everynight before bed, give yourself a 10 minute scalp massage using a little olive oil. Use gentle, but firm pressure. Use the pads of your fingers, not your nails. This will stimulate your scalp's circulation and get more nutrients to your hair shaft. I would also suggest taking a pre-natal vitamin, that has shown to help the hair grow longer-faster.
