i think blonde will suit you but if you would like a change don't go full on dark, maybe a soft lightish brown, which is ok with your skin. This comment has been removed.

You could have your hairstylist mix some highlights and low lights together, and put some blonde in the front, and darker color behind. Then you can still have the best of both worlds. The root re-growth would blend a lot more. This comment has been removed.
